Peyton's Writings
Peyton began writing in 1997 with the help of Alternative and
Augmentative Communication and hasn't stopped since. The following
documents represent a small selection of her writings. None follow
2002 as of yet, because many of them will be included in her new book,
I AM INTLGENT.

- Academic Schedule at Cuyamaca 1998-2002
- A list of all the courses and the semesters they were taken while Peyton was at Cuyamaca College.
- (1998) Peyton's Letter to New Classmates
- This is a letter written by Peyton for the purpose of introducing herself to new classes,
students, and faculty at Cuyamaca College.
- (2000) In Pursuit of An Education
- An Essay written by Peyton about how she came to study at Cuyamaca Community College and how she was supported by
the staff and students while she was there.
- (2001) It's Your Move
- An Essay in which Peyton argues that FC is a successful mode of communication for many users.
- (2002) Five Questions
- Peyton is interviewed for a question and answer session about her education.
- (2002) Separate Could Never Be Equal
- An essay written from Peyton's experience in the school system; on why kids should be included.

- The speech Peyton gave during the graduation ceremony at Cuyamaca.

- Peyton co-writes the foreword in this new book about bringing together teachers and students as co-participants of instruction and learning in the classroom.
