Peyton's Writings

Peyton began writing in 1997 with the help of Alternative and Augmentative Communication and hasn't stopped since. The following documents represent a small selection of her writings. None follow 2002 as of yet, because many of them will be included in her new book, I AM INTLGENT.

(1998) Peyton's Letter to New Classmates
This is a letter written by Peyton for the purpose of introducing herself to new classes, students, and faculty at Cuyamaca College.
(2000) In Pursuit of An Education
An Essay written by Peyton about how she came to study at Cuyamaca Community College and how she was supported by the staff and students while she was there.
(2001) It's Your Move
An Essay in which Peyton argues that FC is a successful mode of communication for many users.

Peyton is interviewed for a question and answer session about her education.
