- TASH
- an international grassroots leader in advancing inclusive communities through research, education and advocacy. Founded in 1975, they are a volunteer-driven organization that advocates for human rights and inclusion for people with the most significant disabilities and support needs -- those most vulnerable to segregation, abuse, neglect and institutionalization. The inclusive practices they have validated through research have been shown to improve outcomes for all people.
- Autism National Committee
- an autism advocacy organization dedicated to "Social Justice for All Citizens with Autism" through a shared vision and a commitment to positive approaches. It was founded in 1990 to protect and advance the human rights and civil rights of all persons with autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and related differences of communication and behavior.
- Inclusion Institutes
- a consortium of research and service projects related to inclusive education affiliated with the School of Education of Syracuse University. While all three of these projects have a distinct focus, they all are deeply rooted in inclusive philosophy and reflect efforts to provide greater access to schooling and communication for individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
- Autism Institute at University of San Diego
- The goal of the USD Autism Institute is to develop and disseminate research and other information on supporting individuals with autism and their families. Major activities of the USD Autism Institute include: development and coordination of an annual autism conferences directed at educators, students, families, self-advocates, professionals and support staff; training and consultation for school districts and agencies within San Diego County; and teaching and training for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of San Diego.
